PAO-Nap is the modified PAO attached a naphthalimide fluorophore using aminocaproic acid as a linker. PAO induces oxidative stress-mediated apoptosis in HL-60 cells by selectively targeting thioredoxin reductase[1].PAO exhibits IC50 values of 6.2 μM, 9.4 μM, 7.7 μM in HL-60, 7721 and Hela cells (48 h)[1].[1].
